As part of its commitment to sustainability, the project is working to create the world’s largest Dark Sky Reserve, aiming to reduce light pollution and safeguard the region's biodiversity. With the help of experts, Red Sea Global (RSG) has implemented lighting strategies that balance guest needs while protecting nocturnal wildlife, such as endangered hawksbill turtles, whose nesting cycles can be disrupted by artificial light.
In line with its sustainability goals, RSG is pursuing international Dark Sky accreditation, which will allow visitors to enjoy the same stunning night skies that guided historical travelers. This initiative highlights RSG's dedication to protecting the environment while offering a unique and responsible tourism experience.
