King Salman Park - Riyadh

King Salman Park is a large-scale public park and urban district in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia spanning over 16 square kilometers and set to become the largest urban park in the world.

MASQ was assigned the lighting design and development of the streetscape and Loop of KSP in collaboration with Omrania. The main lighting principles include precise and coherent lighting, reduction of light pollution, uniformity, glare control and warm color temperatures.

The project required a meticulous study of the Light colors and intensities following the different kind of roads and functions. The lighting blends with the design of the project, integrating seamlessly into the elements of the landscape, with low ambient lighting and concealed light sources.
